THE BARN is both a teaching center and home to our horses. It is barrier-free and offers a safe environment where independence is encouraged. It has ten stalls with runs, a mounting ramp, a tack room, shop, feed room and covered washing/grooming area.

THE TACKROOM holds a variety of saddles which are used on several of the horses, but each horse has its own bridle. All the equipment is well maintained by students and volunteers and organized for ease of use by those with physical challenges, and includes Braille signage to aid the sight impaired.

THE MOUNTING RAMP is a pathway to independence for our riders. Mounting can be a vulnerable moment, and a smooth and fluid transition is the goal. This requires the horse to be patient and calm, the rider to be brave and determined and the staff to be vigilant and professional. It all comes together here, at the mounting ramp, where the rider leaves the mechanical assistance behind, and becomes simply a rider - equal in stature to all others and at one with the horse.

THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER contains a large multi-purpose room, library, kitchen, two wheelchair accessible bathrooms (one with a shower) and office. Much of what is experienced on horseback or on the trails is explored and discussed in the comfortable environment of the educational center.
